Rocky mtn high

No bikes.

Just backpacks, snowshoes, bad headaches, gasping for breath, beautiful scenery, a sweet log cabin, good friends, and good times.

Four days at 9,000 to 12,000 feet totally kicked my ass...and I loved it.

How do you know when you need new hiking boots? When your heels still look like this 4 days after hiking, it's a pretty good sign that new boots would be a good idea:

Oh no! You probably weren't near any kind of pharmacy or anything, but if you are and you get that next time, ask the pharmacist for the stuff they use for bedsores. Saved my heels and let me hike Ben Nevis a few years ago! It's amazing stuff.

Beautiful, beautiful photos...the best photos are always the ones that show how beautiful the scenery is and also show how much fun you had! Those will be great to look at and reminisce (sp?) about a few years from now.

Stoker...All those pretty pictures and you didn't ask her to marry you? I am so dissapointed....

Dang, that looks awesome! Almost makes me miss snow. I hope your heels heal up fast!
