Sunday's ride

~4 hrs of riding, 1 flat tire, and one bonk.

I wasn't very happy about Pete taking this "aftermath" picture at the time, but I was too tired to do anything about it.

But it was a beautiful day to be out riding with LGR and friends, so it was totally worth it.

If 'got the bonk' didn't get the bonk what kind of ride would it be? It was a gorgeous weekend for riding!

Sarah - nice pic. Good to see you have the recovery drink there. Wanna do it again this weekend?

Dis - I sobbed for at least an hour. Don't sell me short.

I'm glad someone noticed (Pete had to make it for me and bring it to me).

Wanna do it again this weekend?
Of course. Bring it.

Yes, thank you for noticing the recovery drink. But the sympathy level should be reduced for the bonkee.

Notice how much recovery drink is in the bottle? When I took that bottle off the Bonkee's bike to make the unbonk drink, I was a bit surprised that the bonkee had only had a few sips of water during that 4 hr ride. All I had to do was throw in two scoops of unbonk into the 4 hour old water.

Legend has it that the bonkee piled it on in the Dunn Bros feed zone, egg and cheese something or other, 2 bottles of coke, and I'm sure something off of everyone else's plate. Next time the LGR team ride should stop at the OCB.

Make no mistake, I'm proud of my girl and the riding she's doing.

SPBRC4LIFE, YO!
